The ToughArmor MB601M2K-1B is the world's first M. 2 NVMe Hot Swap removable frame of the M. 2 PCIe NVMe SSDs of all lengths and brands including Samsung, Western Digital, Intel, Crucial, Corsair, Adata with transfer rates of up to 32Gbps. M. 2 SSDs were originally not designed for hot swap changes, as the open circuit board with the sensitive connection is only designed for 250 plug-in cycles. With the MB601M2K-1B, your SSD is wrapped in a protective metal sheath and uses ICY DOCKs on 10. 000+ plug-in cycles designed hot swap connection, making it very easy to install, replace or remove the SSD quickly and safely. Note - The host must support NVMe Hot Swap to use this function with M. 2 NVMe SSDs. The host does not need to manually update hardware in drive management. The adjustable M. 2 bracket can be moved to accommodate all standard M. 2 PCIe NVMe SSD lengths, including 2230 (30 mm), 2242 (42 mm), 2260 (60 mm), 2280 (80 mm) and 22110 (110 mm). The holder snaps into the screw hole of the SSD to fix it without screw, saving you the hassle of losing the screw while protecting it from vibration. A robust full metal housing, the tray and also the holder help to ensure a long service life of the SSD and contribute to effective heat dissipation. An anti-vibration design integrated into the case protects against damage caused by shocks. The uniquely designed tray provides an integrated aluminium heat sink and thermal pads for maximum passive heat dissipation. This heat is efficiently dissipated through a variety of strategically placed ventilation openings, which helps the removable frame in combination with case fans to protect your SSDs from overheating even under high loads.
