DiMarzio DP223 PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge Humbucker Pickup -Cream-NEW
In Brief:Humbucking Electric Guitar Standard spaced Pickup, for Bridge -Cream.
The PAF® 36th Anniversary Bridge humbucker aims to embody the qualities of great vintage humbuckers, with a soft magnetic field, sweet tone, warmth and clarity balance, and the ability to transition from clean to distorted using pick attack alone. It's not a mere clone but a re-engineered version, inspired by Larry DiMarzio's 1959 Gibson® Les Paul®. The pickup has a weak magnetic field, similar to a single-coil, allowing for longer string vibration and precise articulation. Computer-controlled winding and custom coating ensure the desired frequency response, and a special formula eliminates noise. The nickel-silver cover is more magnetically transparent than the originals. This pickup performs well in both neck and bridge positions, and customization options are available. The PAF® 36th Anniversary Bridge is hotter than the neck version and suitable for various guitar types. It combines the best qualities of Virtual PAF® bridge and Virtual Hot PAF® pickups, with a balance of loudness, low-end, midrange, and smooth highs. The 4-conductor version also splits effectively, offering a bright but not sterile single-coil mode.
