COLOSSEUM

This sculpture resembles a fragment of the ruins of the great Colosseum. However, the outlines of the ancient stadium are only guessed in the proportions of the tiers and arches of the windows, we unerringly guess that the author was inspired by ancient architecture. The art object symbolizes how much impact the art of the times of Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire has made even on modern artists. The author chose shades of blue to enhance the impression of reminiscence and mirage.
