Storage

The pacifier should always be stored clean and dry, e.g. in a closed box or in a pacifier box. Avoid especially placing the pacifier in direct sunlight or heat, as this can weaken the natural rubber. Also do not sterilize the pacifier with anything other than boiled water.

Cleaning

Before using the pacifier for the first time, pour boiling water over it, then let it sit in the water for 5 minutes. Do not boil the pacifier. After that, the pacifier should regularly be sterilized by pouring boiling water over it. Since it is a valve pacifier, liquid will enter the teat. When the pacifier has cooled, press the water out of the teat to ensure hygiene.

Why is the nipple clear in the material on some pacifiers and matte in the material on others? Natural rubber latex is et natural material with many good properties, such as softness, tensile strength, and great resistance to biting. However, latex also has natural variations in the material, which may be visible in this type of light. Therefore, the nipple's appearance may vary in clarity and color.
