The 0FG Exhaust: 

The 0FG Exhaust for the Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL is a true-dual 3” T304L stainless steel cat-back configuration featuring front pipes that begin directly after the factory emissions equipment, a tailored X-pipe, and AWE’s patented drone-canceling 180 Technology®. Engineered for both short- and long-wheelbase models, the 0FG delivers a rich, refined V8 tone, precision fitment, and signature quad 4.5” double-walled tips in chrome silver or diamond black.

U.S.-sourced .065”-wall T304L stainless steel runs from front to back, CNC mandrel-bent for smooth flow and handcrafted in-house for exacting quality. The straight-through design keeps restriction low while the X-pipe balances exhaust pulses for a deep, clean soundtrack with the right amount of aggression. Ball & socket joints allow for easy installation and proper tip alignment in the valance, making final adjustment simple and exact.

Keeping the aggression at the rear, and out of the cabin, is AWE’s patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®.

As exhaust gases exit the 6.2L engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports and into reflection chambers. Sound waves carried by these exhaust gases bounce off the walls of the reflection chambers.

By controlling the size and location of the ports and chambers, we also control when the sound waves exit the chambers. The specific timing of when the reflected sound waves rejoin the main exhaust flow creates a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree out-of-phase sound wave that cancels out problematic frequencies.

AWE's patented 180 Technology® works a little something like this: As exhaust gases exit the engine and flow into an AWE 180 Technology®-equipped resonator, they pass through strategically located ports, and into reflection chambers.
