Allows you to play your early 80s Exidy games in a JAMMA cabinet or a supergun device.
Exidy System V1 was the company’s first common arcade video game hardware platform, used mostly for driving games in the late 70s. This was followed by System V2 used in many of Exidy’s maze-type games in the early 80s, and then System 440 for shooting-type games later in the decade.
System V2 hardware consists of either a 2 board set… a logic and a sound/video board, or a 3 board set… a logic, sound, and video color board. This adapter is compatible with both types of System V2, but not with System V1 or System 440 which isn’t suited for JAMMA controls.
This adapter includes the required 44 main edge connector, an additional 30 pin power / sound edge connector and wire harness, and a 10 pin video cable. Exidy games output RGB video with positive composite sync, which may not be compatible with your monitor, so this adapter provides a switchable built-in sync converter to make the video signal 100% JAMMA compatible.
