Leuze HT5.1/4X-M8 Diffuse Sensor

The Leuze HT5.1/4X-M8 Diffuse Sensor is an advanced sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial automation systems. Utilizing the diffuse reflection principle with background suppression, this sensor ensures reliable performance in detecting objects of various colors and materials. It features a focused beam path with a range of 0.005 to 0.4 meters, offering optimal detection capabilities for different object colors, including black, gray, and white.

The sensor's LED light source operates at a wavelength of 645 nm, providing reliable detection with a round light spot geometry. The PNP transistor output supports light switching, with a high switching frequency of 1,000 Hz and a fast response time of 0.5 ms, ensuring smooth operation in high-speed industrial processes. The sensor includes a multiturn potentiometer for easy range adjustment and fine-tuning, allowing for precise control over the detection distance.

Designed with an M8 male connector and IP67 protection, the HT5.1/4X-M8 sensor is built for durability, with resistance to dust and water, making it perfect for harsh environments. The PC-ABS housing and plastic PMMA lens cover ensure long-term performance and reliability. It also operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 60°C, making it suitable for use in diverse industrial conditions.

The HT5.1/4X-M8 sensor comes with two M3 threaded sleeves for mounting and provides a clear LED display for easy status monitoring.
