She carries a scripture-engraved rifle, its barrel darkened by constant use. Soldiers swear she strikes targets no mortal eye could ever find — shapes in fog, whispers in the dark — moving with a calm that feels almost sacred.
In the trenches they say the Lord guides her aim.
