Meet Isabella.. she is a HOLY GRAIL RARE early 1980s Laura Ashley Bo-Peep era dream dress. She is beautifully crafted with metres and metres of cotton with a lined and boned bodice. She is adorned in the best ruffles one can find, with three tier ruffles to the fullest skirt one could find and amazing exaggerated ruffles around her neckline and shoulders. She has beautiful puff sleeves with frill cuffs and elasticated shoulder straps, a sweetheart neckline and a low cut back. She has a bow feature at her neckline and a beautifully gathered waist. She is in a pale blue colour with a pink, cream and green floral print. Isabella is no normal vintage dress.. she is the BEST and rarest of them all. She will be a treasured piece of your wardrobe for life and is to be passed down as a family heirloom for generations to come. I cannot believe this slice of heaven came into my hands, and I cannot wait to see where she is headed today.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ - The top label which would have had Laura Ashley's green logo on has been very annoyingly cut, but the care label is still there. I can absolutely verify authenticity of this dress, it has also been documented on an original Laura Ashley photograph. You can see where the green logo has been sliced through on the tag, the care label is also an authentic Laura Ashley care label of this era. This has been reflected in the price of this dress. This dress has been known to sell for £350+. See last two photos.

This girl would work on UK sizes 4/6 best. She is supposed to be worn very fitted close to the body. Some of you may have seen our model georgia wearing her on Instagram, Georgia is a 6 with a 25" - 26" waist and we managed to get her closed.

The Isabella has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be washed at home on a cool setting. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear, including very very slight fading in places. Truthfully this is to be absolutely expected with this dress, ALL Laura Ashley dresses are prone to slight fading due to the dyes used. This is very minor and pretty much unnoticeable, but worth a mention.

This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
