Yes. Run a quality flush through the block and heater lines to clear old coolant debris. Fresh coolant and a clean system will extend radiator life and prevent sediment buildup in the new core.

What if there's a leak after installation?

Check hose connections first — most post-install leaks are tightness issues at clamp points. If the radiator itself leaks, contact us with photos and your order details for warranty evaluation.
