Yes. Wipe down your headers or manifold with a dry cloth to remove loose debris and oil residue. This helps the wrap grip properly and prevents slipping once heat builds up. You don't need to strip it bare — just get the surface clean enough that the wrap won't slide.

Can I reuse the zip ties if I need to unwrap it later?

The included zip ties are single-use cinch style. If you plan to remove or re-route the wrap, have a second set on hand. Heavy-duty zip ties from any hardware store work fine as replacements.

Will 30 feet cover my entire exhaust system?

Thirty feet is enough for most single manifolds or a full set of headers on a typical V6 or V8. Measure your tubing length and width before ordering — for dual setups or long-runner exhausts, you may need multiple rolls.
