Yes. Drain the existing coolant completely and rinse the system with distilled water to remove sediment and debris. This prevents contamination of your new radiator and ensures proper heat transfer.

Will the hoses and clamps from my old radiator work with this one?

Your existing hoses will connect to the same ports, but inspect them for cracks or deterioration while you have the system open. Replace hoses if they show age or damage — they're cheap insurance against leaks after you install new cooling equipment.
