Vintage 40s Brown Fur Jacket Wrap Capelet Michelle Chicago

Luxurious brown mink(?) fur jacket that can be worn as a jacket thanks to the wide sleeves featuring upturned cuffs), or slip your arms through interior sashes and wear it as a short cape or wrap, over your shoulders. This style is indicative of the decade - a stole or capelet style with wide sleeves and a loose fit. The fur has been worked in the vertical direction, which was a common technique used for mink garments from this era. *Note that the fur might also be rex rabbit or russian squirrel as it seems a bit too soft for mink.
Note that the three-quarters length is so you could see the gloves underneath. Other features include a small, fold down collar and large slit pocket panels in the front sides, fully lined. Interior shows a gorgeous, satin brocade lining. No closure as it lays open at the center.
