While many collectors associate the Seamaster with classic dive watches, Omega also produced a number of sophisticated chronograph variants which combined sporty functionality with refined mid-century design. Presented in the iconic 1970s tonneau-style stainless steel case, this Omega Seamaster Chronograph reference 145.029 captures the bold design language of the era perfectly. The deep blue dial is paired with striking orange chronograph hands, white subsidiary registers and a tachymeter scale, giving the watch a distinctly sporty character while remaining unmistakably Omega. Powered by the highly respected calibre 861 manual-wind movement, the same movement family used in the legendary Speedmaster, this example offers both reliability and strong collector appeal.

The watch remains in very good vintage condition overall, with honest wear to the case consistent with age and use. The original and unblemished blue dial has aged beautifully, retaining strong colour and clarity throughout, while the signed case back still displays the classic Seamaster hippocampus engraving. Fitted to its stainless steel Omega bracelet with 625 end links, this is a superb vintage chronograph with real wrist presence and unmistakable 1970s charm.
