She started her own line 1952 and was famous for dinner and cocktail dresses that were very feminine, even in the 1960s and 1970s when fashion had moved in a different direction. This dress set includes a sleeveless, long and figure hugging, stretchy bod- con chocolate brown dress with a funnel turtle neck. But the 60’s glam doesn’t stop there! It comes with it’s matching jacket that has ridiculously awesome and dramatic, real feather cuffs. The feathers are fluffy, soft, dreamy, and iridescent…the perfect accent to the monochromatic, brown streamline ensemble. It has it’s original labels inside which read, “Miss Elliette, California, size 10”. It’s stretchy nature would allow it to fit a modern day Women’s Small (just skimming the curves), modern day Women’s Medium (fitted), modern day Large (body-con).
