This necklace is large and gaudy. It is a naturally antiqued raw brass which is a warm-gold metal. The antiqued gold textured thick cable chain measures 16 inches long fitting a small to average size female neck. The thick stamped leaves measure 2 to 1 inch and have great detailing of the veining that occurs in leaves.. The filigree hollow metal ball charms measure 1 inch. The original snap clasp is still functional.

The raw brass has a natural antiquing to it making the finish a little uneven in places. Please look at images to illustrate this minor flaw.

This metal necklace is circa 1930 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department stores to Woolworth, usually made in Europe or the United States. The manufacture and quality of costume jewelry deteriorated in the latter part of the century making this era the last with enduring products.
