Lovely late 1930s to 1940s satin, beautifully homesewn or custom made. Self fabric buttons and loop fastened to bodice and cuffs. Open beneath the button placket, so a little more flexible on hip size. 

Would look very nice with a plain skirt for formal wear, or could mix into modern wardrobe with jeans.

Bust 36” approx, with a little more room up front in the ruching!

Condition: 

Appears very good. Stored well for many years and unworn, it is clean and immediately wearable with very minor age discolouration, no major marks noted to underarms etc. 

Hand made, possibly from earlier (30s) item? but very neat. 

I can’t decide if there has been some unseen rusting to the metal button backs, which has made the buttons a little brown in places, or if it’s part of the print. It’s hard to see, please see photos.
