Viviane Spanoge is a renowned Belgian female cellist who teaches at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels and is known for her collaborations with Yuzuko Horime. Her next collaboration with the brilliant Belgian pianist Jan Mikiels, with whom she has performed on albums by Schnittke and Galina Ustvolskaya, is a collection of French cello sonatas that reflects on the close relationship between Belgium and France during the Belle Epoque (the good times from around 1880 to 1914).
