情報社会である現代では、わからない大抵のことはネットが教えてくれる。

しかしその反面、大多数の意見で『正解』が決まってしまう恐ろしさを私は感じる。

本来、人の数だけ出て良いはずの意見はそこにあるコメントに対するいいね数でランキングが簡単につけられてしまう。

そんな中で無意識に自分が『正解』を探してしまっていることに気が付いた。

推しの引退に対してSNSでつぶやく言葉や、映画の感想等、本来正解がないはずの

感情に正解を探して、自分の本来の意見を見失ってしまう。

そんな時音楽を聴いている間だけは素直になれた。いろんな音楽を聴きながら誰の意見でもない自分の素直な感情を思い出す。

それは音楽が感情と記憶を引き出すトリガーのような役割をしているからではないかと思う。

そうやって

音楽によって呼び起こされる、名前の付けられない感情を

その時見えた景色で絵に残すことで、一つ一つに価値を持たせる作業を私はしている。

In today's information society, the internet can teach us about almost anything we don’t understand. However, I also feel a fear that the majority opinion can easily determine what is considered "correct." Opinions, which should ideally be as numerous as the people who hold them, are often ranked by the number of likes on comments.

Amidst this, I realized that I unconsciously seek out a "correct answer." When expressing my feelings about a favorite artist's retirement or sharing my thoughts on a movie, I find myself looking for validation in emotions that should have no right or wrong. In the process, I lose sight of my true opinions.

However, during moments when I listen to music, I can be honest with myself. As I immerse myself in various sounds, I recall my genuine feelings, separate from anyone else's opinions. I believe this is because music serves as a trigger that evokes emotions and memories.

In this way, I work to capture the indescribable emotions awakened by music in my artwork, giving each one its own value through the scenes I visualize at that moment.
