Grammy 2019 Award Winning Tenor! Karim Suleiman sings Schubert! Karim Suleiman has studied violin since the age of three and has performed as a boy alto soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under Scholty and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra under Slatkin. With a repertoire ranging from Renaissance to contemporary music with vivid descriptions and a beautiful voice, this Lebanese-American tenor singer has been an outstanding artist of the younger generation. Winner of the 61st Grammy Award (Best ClassicalSolo Vocal Album) in 2019 for his debut solo album "Songs of Olweus," Suleiman has appeared in concert halls and opera houses around the world, and his highly anticipated second solo album is a star-themed This album is a collection of Schubert songs on the theme of "the stars". D. from the Juilliard School and currently teaches at the Juilliard School. Accompanied by the fortepiano (Joseph Simon, made in Vienna around 1830) played by American historical piano player Ichen Yang, Suleiman sings Schubert's joys and sorrows, light and darkness with delicate expressiveness.
